Our Journey
Anja and John Smits, originally from the Netherlands, began their property investment journey in 2014 to build a stable and passive income. After exploring various business ventures, they discovered UK property investment through training and mentorship programs. Their first investments were in Glasgow, acquiring buy-to-let and social housing properties. As they expanded their portfolio, they ventured into serviced accommodations and HMOs, refining their processes through experience and education.
Managing properties remotely came with challenges, from unreliable agents to construction delays. However, by establishing strong local partnerships, improving contracts, and leveraging technology, they built an efficient system.
Today, D&T Assets Ltd continues to grow, focusing on high-quality co-living spaces while streamlining management for long-term success.
